Designed for participants aged 14-20, the Rambert School Taster Course will provide aspiring dancers with a valuable insight into the training at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance.

The intensive will model the timetable of the full-time FD/BA Hons degree programme offered at Rambert School. The timetable will run from 9am to 5pm each day, comprising of Ballet, Pointe & Virtuosity, Contemporary, Improvisation, Creative, Enrichment and Repertoire (both Ballet and Contemporary).

The course will provide students with the opportunity to learn from Rambert School faculty, alumni and guest artists, to best prepare them for a professional training/audition environment.

APPLICATION INFORMATION
- Rambert School Taster Course applicants must be at least 14 years old on the 1st April 2025.
- Students should have been taking weekly classes in Ballet or Contemporary dance to an intermediate standard and be looking to pursue training at a pre-vocational/vocational level. Students who are not currently en pointe are welcome to apply.
- Applications are welcome from UK and International students (subject to UK travel regulations). Please note this course is not residential
Applications are open until Tuesday 1st April 2025, or until the course is full. Places are filled on a first-come first-served basis. We recommend you apply and book soon to avoid disappointment.

Bursary Offer
DEADLINE: 12TH MARCH 2025

Bursaries are available for UK residents who meet any of the following eligibility criteria:
- Household income below £42,875
- Eligible for Free School Meals
- Refugee or asylum seeker status
- Care-experienced, estranged from family or a looked after child
These bursaries cover between 25% and 75% of the course costs. To apply for a bursary, complete the course application form and select the option to receive additional information.

The application process for bursaries will be sent to all dancers who are offered a place on the course and are eligible.

Payment of Course Fee
There are 2 payment options for the course:

Option 1 is to pay the Full Fee (£195), which secures your place on the course.

Option 2 is to pay a 25% Deposit (£48.75) now and be put on a payment plan. The payment plan will charge you 25% (£48.75) of the remainder of the course fee at 2-week intervals.
