    A year-long ballet and contemporary training and performance programme for young dancers aged 14-19 preparing to apply for vocational dance training.

    Date: Every Saturday from September 2026 - July 2027, except for school half terms and holidays.

    Time: 10:00AM - 4:30PM

    Course Fee: £336 per term


    PRE|PARE

    A year-long course for 11-17 year olds with raw talent and potential in dance, developing the fundamental skills in contemporary and ballet dance.

    Date: Every Saturday from September 2026 - July 2027, except for school half terms and holidays.

    Time: 10:00AM - 1:00PM

    Course Fee: £240 per term


    AUDITION INFORMATION
    You will be invited to take part in a three-hour workshop-based audition at Rambert School. Auditions are being held over three Saturdays on 6th, 13th, 20th June.

    The auditions are split as follows:

    6th June: PRE|PARE (AM only)

    13th & 20th June: PRE|VOC (AM & PM)


    You will take Ballet, Pointe (if en pointe already), Virtuosity, Contemporary and Creative classes. You will meet the Prevocational Course Leaders and find out more about Rambert School.

    • Rambert School PRE|PARE applicants must be at least 11 years old on the 1st September 2026.
    • Rambert School PRE|VOC applicants must be at least 14 years old on the 1st September 2026.
    • Students should have been taking weekly classes in Ballet or Contemporary dance to an intermediate standard and be looking to pursue training at a prevocational/vocational level. Students who are not currently en pointe are welcome to apply.
    • Applications are welcome from those who reside in the UK only.


    All auditionees will hear the outcome of their audition by Friday 3rd July 2026.

  • Audition Information

  • Audition slots are offered on a first come first serve basis. We cannot guarantee you will be given the date and time you requested, but we will aim to give you the next closest available slot where possible.

    We highly recommend you attend an audition in person.

    However, if you cannot make any of the dates below, then please select the digital audition option.

    For digital auditionees please submit a video of the following:

    • 30 seconds-1 minute of Ballet work, of your own choice (exercises, solo, etc.)
    • 30 seconds-1 minute of Contemporary work, of your own choice (exercises, solo, etc.)

    This can be filmed anywhere, but please ensure we can see your full body and the location is well lit.

    There are means-tested bursaries available for UK residents only. The application process for bursaries will be sent to all dancers who are offered a place on the course i.e. after auditions have taken place.
